Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab

The department of pharmaceutical chemistry is one of the important branches in the pharmacy. It is equipped with state of the art facilities to undertake academics in Diploma of Pharmacy course. Pharmaceutical Chemistry Labs are well equipped with latest instruments to impart practical training to the students. The department has pharmaceutical Iinorganic, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Analysis Labs.

HAP (Human Anatomy & Pharmacology & Toxicology) Lab

Anatomy and Physiology laboratory is designed to provide a foundation in human biology. This includes the knowledge of basic anatomical and histological organization of the human body and its physiology. Students learn how the various organs of the body interact with one another and how they contribute to the overall physiology of the body.
The pharmacology labs are equipped with modern types of equipment which are commonly used in the experimental pharmacology, like Cook’s Pole Apparatus, Tail Flick Analgesiometer, Eddy’s Hot Plate, Rota Rod Apparatus, Electroconvulsiometer, Spirometer, Histamine Chamber, etc. This lab gives the exposure to students to handle animals and learn the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics principles, drug dose, mechanism of action of drugs, screening of drugs, etc.

Pharmaceutics Lab

Pharmaceutics is the discipline of pharmacy that deals with the practical aspects of manufacturing, formulation and evaluation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms. The subject also helps the students to acquire knowledge and skill to apply quality assurance principles, including legal and ethical aspects involving drugs, delivering a quality assured product as per standards.
This well-furnished pharmaceutics laboratories cater to the practical requirements of pharmacy subjects like Industrial Pharmacy, Physical Pharmaceutics, Novel Drug Delivery System, Dispensing Pharmacy etc. and this labs ensure the complete knowledge of manufacturing of current formulations.
